VarahiHire Terms of Service

1. The service

VarahiHire is a recruitment platform provided by Varahi Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Bhugaon, Pune, India (“Varahi”, “we”). It helps a hiring team screen candidates: it reads and scores resumes against a job description, runs an AI telephonic screening call and an AI technical interview, and shows the results to the team’s recruiters. Resumes can be uploaded or imported from a connected Gmail account. By using VarahiHire you agree to these terms.

2. Customer accounts and responsibilities

VarahiHire is used through accounts that belong to a customer organisation. The customer is responsible for who it gives access to and for what its recruiters do in the account. The customer must:

• have the right, under the law that applies to it, to collect and process the candidate data it brings into VarahiHire, including resumes, call and interview recordings and transcripts, and to have it screened;
• connect only mailboxes it is authorised to use, and only for importing resumes sent to it;
• keep account sign-in details secure and tell us promptly at hello@varahitechnologies.com if it believes an account has been misused.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use VarahiHire to:

• break any law, including employment, anti-discrimination and data-protection law;
• process data you have no right to process, or read mailboxes you are not authorised to read;
• try to get into accounts or data that are not yours, or interfere with the service or its security;
• copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules.

4. Google data

When a customer connects Gmail, VarahiHire handles the data it receives from Google as described in the Google user data section of the VarahiHire Privacy Policy. Access is read-only and can be disconnected at any time.

5. AI-assisted screening

VarahiHire’s scores, call results and interview assessments are produced with the help of AI. They support the recruiter’s decision; they do not replace it. The customer’s recruiters decide who moves forward and who is hired, and the customer remains responsible for those decisions.

6. Availability

VarahiHire is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it running, but we do not guarantee any level of uptime or that it will be free of errors.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Varahi is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business or data, arising from the use of VarahiHire, and our total liability is limited to the extent the law permits.

8. Privacy

How we handle personal data is set out in the VarahiHire Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date below; continuing to use VarahiHire after a change means accepting the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Pune, Maharashtra have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
